The Monstera Deliciosa or commonly known as the split leaf philodendron.
These beauties are very easy to grow, making them a great beginner plant! They love to climb, so a trellis or moss pole would help support them. Young plants have dark green leaves that are completely solid, and as it matures the leaves get more and more fenestrations(splits/holes).
Place in bright, indirect light, as direct sunlight will burn their leaves. An eastern or western facing window is ideal. Water when the top few inches of soil are dry. Make sure to completely soak the soil, having the water drip out the bottom of the plant.
They are also very easy to propagate. Cut below a node and place in a container filled with water, and before you know it, it will grow roots!
