The Birds Nest Fern (Asplenium nidus ‘Crispy Wave’) is a fern with light green, wavy fronds that form a dense “nest” hence the name birds nest fern. This plant is excellent in removing toxins and impurities in your home. The bird’s nest fern will be a great plant to add to your collection with its unique shaped leaves and air purifying qualities!

Care tips:

Water: As a good rule of thumb, water when the top 1-2 inches or soil are dry. Make sure to fully saturate the soil until water drips out the bottom of the pot.

Light: Medium to bright indirect light. An eastern or western or right next to a northern window. Make sure to not place it in direct sunlight, as this can burn the plant’s leaves.

Humidity: This plant loves high humidity. Place it near a humidifier or in a bathroom to increase humidity. This plant is also great being grown in a terrarium! You can also place the plant on a pebble tray too.

Toxicity: Non toxic to cats and dogs!
