Fall Cleanup Checklist

Prepare your yard and outdoor space for the winter months and ensure a healthy, thriving landscape come spring.

Yard & Garden Cleanup
  • Rake and remove fallen leaves from the lawn and garden beds.
  • Trim and prune shrubs, trees, and perennials.
  • Remove dead or diseased plants.
  • Weed and clear garden beds.
  • Cut back and divide perennials as needed.
  • Plant spring-flowering bulbs like tulips and daffodils.
  • Apply a layer of compost or mulch to garden beds.
  • Clean and store garden tools and equipment.
  • Drain and store garden hoses.
  • Protect cold-sensitive plants or move them indoors.
  • Remove any annual plants that have finished flowering.
Lawn Care
