The Ficus Elastica Ruby, commonly called the rubber tree, features beautiful large glossy leaves that are splashed with colors of green, cream, red and pink. This is a great plant to add to your collection if you want a pop of color! These plants can reach upwards of 100 feet in it’s natural environment, but can reach about 10 feet indoors.
Place in bright, indirect light. It will lose the bright vivid colors when in low light, so giving it enough light will make it thrive. An eastern, or western facing window is best. Or pulled back a few feet from a southern facing window.
Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Do not overwater or it will lead to root rot.
